Milagros Carreno, Tahoe Truckee USD, SO MANY SHOWS! But I can't seem to stop watching and rewatching The Office

30:33
Anne Frazier with Chemehuevi Indian Tribe Havasu Lake CA. Sorry I don't own a TV. I did catch a few movies on Amazon though but have been working here at my office since March last year.

I can't hear it. Will this be recorded and avaiable to us?

43:26
Ivan Pagan, Director, SVAEC. If I’m catching on, we are sharing favorite shows? I would recommend Outlander (available on Netflix).

44:42
Yes Anne. This session is being recorded and will be available later today on our Lunch with LARAEC website.

What is the relationship between Pell Grant and CalGrant? The student gets one or the other? not both?

01:07:52
For CalGrants, do adult students who complete an equivalency test or earn a diploma count as a recent high school graduates? Age doesn't matter? Do they need to apply for the semester immediately after their graduation? What makes them not a recent graduate?

01:11:53
This may be a dumb question....what is the difference between subsidized loan and unsubsidized loan?

01:17:39
Students who are taking ESL classes, are low income and have BA/BS degrees from other countries, are not eligible for Pell grant. Are they eligible for any type of Cal Grant?

01:20:05
If Marine's student (above) earns a equivalency certificate in US...do they now count as a recent graduate?

01:20:37
Excellent presentation! Unless one works in Financial Aid, as you do, one can’t possibly have at one’s fingertips the wealth of information that you shared with us. For those of us who don’t deal with financial aid issues from day to day, what are the key takeaways that you’d like us to keep in mind? In other words, if we remembered nothing else from your presentation, what would you like us to remember?
