This is great- I think all counseling dept's should have something like this

meaning a space for each counselor/advisor with role. hours. photo, all contact info and Zoom hours for live conversations

yes I get better results using Google voice for texting than phone calls or emails, definitely the most effective in my experience.

Maria, how often does your school provide student orientations? Is it a group orientation? How many advisors facilitate the orientation? Thank you to all of the presenters!

How do you deal with new students getting used to Zoom? Do you have any type of orientation, or do teachers just deal with it during class? (I am working with ESL students)

We are finding it is a huge time suck to deal with Zoom issues...

You have great resources. We are a small school, so have much less support...

LACCD utilizes Canvas for instruction and the LACCD offers a Canvas tutorial

Do you discuss any goal-setting with students during orientation? Our school is working on this.
